ICT Energy and Carbon in UK Universities and Colleges - Results from the SusteIT Audit Tool
This spreadsheet contains the results from 27 Universities and Colleges who have used the JISC-funded SusteIT Carbon and Energy Footprinting Tool to estimate the energy consumption of their IT Estate. An accompanying commentary on the results and scaled up IT-related carbon and cost figures for the FHE sector can be found in the SusteIT Reports section of the website.

ICT Footprinting Tool
An updated version (March 2012) of this simple excel tool to help estimate the energy consumption, costs and carbon emissions associated with an institution's ICT estate. This 2012 version has updated many of the original figures based on new sources of information, especially the IT energy consumption figures published by the Energy Star programme and feedback from a number of tool users. It also contains a new worksheet, on Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) in server rooms/data centres.
